The Minutemen team, led by Jim Van Gelderen, came to People's Baptist Church in April to conduct "The War of The Special Forces."  It is an evangelistic ministry that includes five days of competition among three teams of special forces:  Army Rangers, Navy Seals, and Marine Recon.  The People's ProTeens, as well as many of the Jr. and Sr. High students from Frederick Christian Academy participated and were split up into the three teams.  They competed in everything from field games to trivia knowledge to earning points for bringing visitors and participating in outreach.  The students were challenged by God's Word in special chapel services during school and also in the evening.  Many decisions were made to either accept Christ as Savior or to surrender to His will.
