When was Frederick Christian Academy Founded?

Using the facilities of the Odd Fellows Home on North Market Street, Frederick Christian Academy first opened its doors in September 1974 with 80 students. In 1978 the school became a ministry of People’s Baptist Church. An eleven-room educational building was erected on the church’s 22-acre property to house the school.  Since that time the church and school have expanded their facilities to include a four-classroom high school addition, a spacious gymnasium, and a fully-licensed commercial kitchen.

A genuine Christian education alternative for grades Pre-K - 12
