How does the lunch program work?

Although students do not have a microwave oven available for their use, the school offers a full menu of nutritious entrees, including snacks, chocolate or white milk, and fruit drinks. Orders are taken through the homeroom teacher daily.

The lunch program is on a payment-in-advance basis only. Each family must establish a food account before food can be given out. These may be established by putting a minimum of $10 in a lunch account. The family will be notified when its balance falls below $3, so that the account may be replenished. As students order, we deduct the amount from their lunch accounts.

All elementary students should have a lunch account, even those who order only occasionally or order only drinks.
