Because Frederick Christian Academy does not receive any public funding for its operation, we ask our parents to assist in several fundraising opportunities. To help provide the best spiritual and educational opportunity for our students, we have three main fundraisers during the school year:
Wolfgang Candy: At the start of each school year, students will be given information on a fundraising opportunity with Wolfgang Candy. We have found that many parents can easily sell this product simply by telling neighbors and co-workers that it is available.
Fall Fest: On the Friday before Columbus Day, each class plans a special activity for a fun, family-centered evening for the entire student body. At the same time, parents and guests may bid in a “Silent Auction” where products and services donated by local businesses are auctioned off.
Jog-A-Thon and Serve-A-Thon: In the spring of the year, preschool and elementary students will ask their family and friends to sponsor them as they walk, jog, or run on a special track setup for the day. Secondary students will look for sponsors as they serve in the local community, often at a local park.
Some other FCA organizations (junior and senior classes, honor society, etc.) may have other fundraisers from time to time to support their goals.
